A teleconference with the representatives of the Armenian community of Ninotsminda was held in the RA Ministry of Diaspora, on October 22. The Head of the Division for Relations with the Armenian Communities of the Caucasus at the RA Ministry of Diaspora T. Shagoyan, Head of the Department of Pan-Armenian Programs A. Andreasyan, the Head of the Department of Information and Telecommunication V. Vardanyan, and also the Head of the Department of Education and Culture at the Municipality of Ninotsminda, Head of the Rafael Javakhk Educational and Cultural Center Zhora Snkhchyan and members of the youth organization from the Armenian community of Ninotsminda took part in the conference. 

The Head of the Department of Pan-Armenian Programs A. Andreasyan presented the “Ari Tun” Program and the “Diaspora” Summer School Program of 2014 and expressed hope that participants from Georgia would be more actively engaged in those programs.

The Head of the “Rafael Javakhk” Educational and Cultural Center Zhora Snkhchyan presented the Center’s activities and touched upon the perspectives for strengthening the relations with the Armenian Diaspora and the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

 Several issues related to the preservation of the Armenian identity, language, culture, etc. were also discussed.
