The poetry evening entitled “We and Our Mountains” performed by Anahit Palyan took place in St. Jacob school of Canada on November 15, 2014. It was organized by “Sanahin” branch of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society. About 250 literary admirers were present at the evening.  

The poems of Paruyr Sevak, Azniv Torosyan, Vahan Tekeyan, Silva Kaputikyan, Siamanto, H. Shiraz, Vahan Teryan and others were recited at the evening.  The Evening ended by the recitation of the poem “Sasuntsineri par” under the sounds of which “Ani” dancing group performed the dance Kochari.  

At the end of the evening the head of “Sanahin” branch Tamar Shahinyan Polatyan invited mother of Anahit Palyan, Azniv Torosyan, to the stage, who recited the “Matyan Goyutan” by Henrik Tumanyan. The audience highly appreciated and praised this project of Hamazkayin.
